WatchGuard CTO Corey Nachreiner is the host of The 443 Podcast and every year, the WatchGuard Threat Lab team imagines what the threat landscape might look like the following year. These predictions offer a fun way to talk about the future threat landscape, they’re based on serious real-world trends that that all IT and security practitioners should know about.
Whether or not any of these predictions come true, this session will inform you about the latest cyber-attack trends and corresponding tips and defense strategies to avoid them. This year, the team went a little dystopian with their cyber security predictions, imagining a bleak future if we don’t start winning the cyber security war. However, the goal of this presentation is to spread the awareness necessary to ensure these dark predictions don’t come true.
