Topic: IT Executive Reporting
As the top IT leader in your company, how do you demonstrate your value to your peers, to your boss, and to your board? How do you explain progress on your technical agenda to those who may not be as technically aware? What formats, graphs or charts have you found to be most helpful when presenting to other executives?
This month's CIO Roundtable will be a group discussion regarding best practices for executive reporting for IT leaders. We will take advantage of the Zoom format for this meeting to allow various CIOs and IT leaders to share their favorite dashboard, graph, chart or report that they use currently to demonstrate their value to their executive team and/or to their board.
If you have a good dashboard or report that you would like to share with the group, please contact Ken Knapton (Ken.Knapton@MerrickBank.com) to express your interest and to get on the agenda. The more people we have participating, the more meaningful and useful this will be for all.
“CIO-Only” Roundtable Luncheons are held every 6 to 8 weeks. These invitation-only events are reserved for the top IT position in our member companies. (Participating companies need to have an IT staff of 6 or more). This is a great opportunity to network with peers and find out how they are addressing technical and leadership issues that may be similar to yours! The luncheons are vendor-free and we average ~35 attendees.
AIM Utah sponsors these CIO Roundtables and other CIO-Only events. All Luncheons are held at member facilities.
