Dear AIM Utah Members:
You are invited to our next AIM General Membership Luncheon!
Location:
The Larry H. Miller Company
9350 South 150 East, Suite 900
Sandy, UT
Our Topic:
The Technology Landscape As Viewed By The "Smart Money"
It is our pleasure to announce that Lee Haney, Partner at Greylock Ventures, is the January AIM Lunch Meeting speaker.
Even before the advent of Gen AI our environment was driven by ever-changing and advancing technologies. One way for technology leaders to get an early insight into the future direction of technology is by learning where highly-successful venture firms are investing their money. At our January meeting Lee Haney will talk about:
- How Greylock Ventures filters which new trends and technologies actually matter
- How the latest developments in AI, cybersecurity and infrastructure technology will change the lives of organizations and technology leaders
- How a venture capital firm manages technology risk and milestone-based product development
Our Speaker, Lee Haney
Advising Greylock’s enterprise software entrepreneurs since 2018, Lee works with early-stage founders and Greylock’s network of enterprise companies with big technology problems to solve.
Lee focuses on paradigm-shifting technologies across cybersecurity, data & analytics, software-defined infrastructure, observability, and SaaS applications. Real-world challenges in the enterprise provide the underpinning of the foundational ideas being built by visionary founders, and Lee serves as a bridge between these two worlds. Prior to joining Greylock, Lee served in several operating roles at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, including as Chief Operating Officer of Vertica, as Chief of Staff to the EVP and General Manager of Hewlett Packard Enterprise Software, and helping lead the value creation program that created DXC Technology, Micro Focus, and today’s Hewlett Packard Enterprise from the former combined Hewlett-Packard companies. In previous roles, Lee worked in Investment Banking at Goldman Sachs and served as a Counterintelligence Officer in the United States Marine Corps, having deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan.
Lee earned a Bachelor of Science from the United States Naval Academy and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
