    Alan Fine

New York Times Bestselling Author, performance expert, and coach to Fortune 100 business executives and professional athletes

Topic: You Already Know How To Be Great

In best-in-class organizations, improving performance begins with the quality of conversations between managers and employees. However, many leaders enter their role unprepared to initiate dialogue that elicits not just better performance, but individual greatness from members of their team. This session teaches a simple set of actions and a powerful process that leaders can use in conversations to bring focus, build trust, and ultimately drive better results. By learning the true nature of performance, leaders begin to believe in the powerful potential of every performer, understand their own role in freeing people up to do their best stuff, and begin taking action to improve individual, team, and organizational performance.

    PARTICIPANTS WILL LEARN TO:

    • Deliver accurate and objective feedback
    • Free others up to take action
    • Bring focus and clarity to performer’s daily actions
    • Connect interpersonal interaction with organizational priorities

    Clarke Rodgers

    AWS Enterprise Strategist & Evangelist

Topic: Security: The Ultimate Business Enabler

Description: Learn how a strong security culture, engineering, and operational practices can enable your business innovation.

As an AWS Enterprise Security Strategist, Clarke is passionate about helping executives explore how the cloud can transform security and working with them to find the right enterprise solutions.

Clarke Rodgers joined AWS in 2016, but his experience with the advantages of AWS security started well before he became part of the team. In his role as CISO for a multinational life reinsurance provider, he oversaw a strategic division’s all-in migration to AWS in 2015. At a time when some companies avoided moving to the cloud because of strict security requirements, their migration was actually driven by security requirements, with a goal of achieving Service Organization Control (SOC) 2 accreditation to demonstrate the company’s protection of its very sensitive personal data.

Now, Clarke brings his AWS migration experience and more than 20 years in security, risk, and compliance roles to guide enterprise customers in their cloud transformation journeys.
