Session 1: (11:00am - 11:45am)

IT Agility, facilitated by Niel Nickolaisen.

Is digital transformation our most recent buzzword – used by vendors and consultants to convince us to buy stuff – or does it describe an environment in which technology changes and advances affect every aspect of our organizations? For our June CIO Round Table we have asked Niel Nickolaisen, local IT gadfly who is also considered something of an expert on our technology-rich future, to lead a discussion on what must be true about our IT in an era of rapid change and massive uncertainty. Niel will share his thoughts on the need for IT Agility and then gather our input on concrete, specific things we can all do to improve our agility (and convince the rest of the organization to follow us).

Lunch Break / Networking (11:45am - 12:15pm)

Introducing one of our sponsors, First Digital.

Session 2:  (12:15pm - 1:00pm)

Open discussion on "Crucial Conversations", or how to get your IT teams to speak clearly and coherently.

-----

“CIO-Only” Roundtable Luncheons are held every 6 to 8 weeks. These invitation-only events are reserved for the top IT position in our member companies.  (Participating companies need to have an IT staff of 6 or more). This is a great opportunity to network with peers and find out how they are addressing technical and leadership issues that may be similar to yours! The luncheons are vendor-free and we average 35+ attendees.

AIM Utah sponsors these CIO Roundtables and other CIO-Only events. All Luncheons are held at member facilities.

Current schedule for future Roundtables:

  • September 28, 2018
  • November 16, 2018
  • December 21, 2018

If you have any questions about these events, please e-mail James King jamesk@xmission.com

Thanks to the 2018 sponsors of the CIO Roundtables who also cover the membership fees for our CIO Members:  Summit Partners and First Digital
