How is the Intelligent Edge going to affect your Business?

Sanchaita Datta will be sharing what the intelligent edge is and why it will change the way businesses, governments, schools, and the consumer will access information to help decision making in the future.  The ramifications of the intelligent edge have wide spread impact on latency, cost, security, and distributed networks including IoT. Come learn more about this future trend and how it will impact us all as IT leaders.

Sanchaita Datta

Sanchaita Datta is the President, CTO, and Co-Founder of FatPipe Networks, the inventor and leader of WAN redundancy and SD-WAN technologies. 

Prior to co-founding FatPipe Networks, Datta was with Megahertz (U.S. Robotics, 3COM) as project leader for products that won numerous industry awards including Best of Show at Interop 1994.  Datta was also one of the first voting members of the IEEE’s Standards Committees for 100 Mb/s technology and Wireless LANs.

Some of Ms. Datta's most notable accomplishments include securing twelve patents that cover the core functionality of FatPipe's technology.  Datta is the 2009 award recipient of the YWCA Outstanding Achievement in category of Business and Industry.  She was the recipient of the 2008 Women Tech Council’s coveted Technology Innovator Award.

Her efforts in creating and developing SD-WAN have helped FatPipe receive numerous accolades in the IT industry and business communities.

Ms. Datta currently serves on the Utah Board of Regents, previously served on the National Presidential Advisory Board of Utah Valley University & Board of Trustees of Salt Lake Community College.  She was a member of Governor Jon Huntsman Jr. IT Task Force, a member of the Governor’s Transition Team, a Member of the Review Board for the State’s Centers of Excellence program, a Trustee of Utah Women in Technology, and is the proud mother of twin 18 year old boys.
